The inspiration for my post was a piece of photography by a woman named Barbara Morgan, titled Trees in Fog. I love trees. I love the woods and the scenery and being amongst trees, and the fog adds a special effect that gives me kind of a happy feeling. The photo titled Trees in Fog is just a simple photo of a sharp tree with no leaves, so clearly the picture was set in fall, and it is surrounded by dark leaves and lots of fog. I love this picture for its simplicity and beauty, so it inspired me to photograph the beautiful woods outside of my house in black and white. I decided to have a hooded figure because it added to the creepy aspect of the photography. Strangely, the hooded figure is actually my mother and she is wearing my brother's old graduation gown for what's supposed to be a scary cloak. These woods are taken place right outside of my apartment building and I get to look at them every day.
